ટ્રમ્પ ટેરિફ વૉર અને વૈશ્વિક મંદી અને યુદ્ધ ના કારણે દેશનું એક્સપોર્ટ અનેક સમશ્યા નો સામનો કરી રહ્યું છે ત્યારે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર વેપાર ઉદ્યોગ મહામંડળ દ્વારા ગુજરાતના માનનીય મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીને ગુજરાત એક્સપોર્ટ પ્રોમોશન કાઉન્સિલ ની રચના કરી એક્સપોર્ટને વેગ આપવા માટે રજુઆત કરવામાં આવેલ. ગુજરાત સરકાર ના નાણામંત્રીશ્રી કનુભાઈ દેસાઈ દ્વારા રજુ કરવામાં આવેલ બજેટમાં એક્સપોર્ટ પ્રોમોશન કાઉન્સિલ ની રચનાની જાહેરાત કરવામાં આવેલ છે તે ખુબજ આવકારદાયક અને મહત્વપૂર્ણ પગલું છે.

ચાઈનાની સામે વૈશ્વિક સ્પર્ધામાં ટકી રહેવા માટે ખુબજ આક્રમકઃ, દીર્ઘદ્રષ્ટિ વાળા અને નક્કર પગલાંની આવશ્યકતા છે. આશા છેકે ગુજરાત સરકાર આ બાબત ગંભીરતાથી આગળ વધારશે.

આજે ચાઈના વિશ્વના ક્યાં દેશના ક્યાં પ્રાંત માં લોકોને શું જોઇળેછે તેના ઉપર સર્વે, રિસર્ચ કરીને પ્રોડક્ટ ડેવેલપ કરીને પહોંચાડે છે. એક વ્યાપક નેટવર્ક ઉભું કરીને વિશ્વના ગામેગામ અને દુકાને દુકાને ચાઈનાની પ્રોડક્ટ વેચાઈ રહી છે. કરોડો લોકો ચાઈના માલ લેવા જાય છે. શું ભારત સરકાર દ્વારા આવી આક્રમકઃ રણનીતિ ના અપનાવી શકાય? દેશના તમામ વ્યાપાર ઉદ્યોગ સંગઠનો ફક્ત એક્સપોર્ટના સેમિનાર કરીને સંતોષ માનશે તો ચાઈનાની સામે ટક્કર લઇ શકાશે?

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર વેપાર ઉદ્યોગ મહામંડળ રાજકોટ દ્વારા ફેબ્રુઆરી ૧૧ થી ૧૫ દરમ્યાન અમદાવાદમાં યોજાયેલા આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય વેપાર મેળાનું સફળ આયોજન અમદાવાદ ખાતે થયું હતું. ટ્રેડ ફેર માં આવેલા વિદેશી બાયર ની મુલાકાતનું આયોજન ગુજરાત મુખ્યમંત્રી ભૂપેન્દ્રભાઈ પટેલ સાથે કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.

આ ડેલિગેશન માં સૌરાષ્ટ્ર વેપાર ઉદ્યોગ મહામંડળ ના પ્રમુખ શ્રી પરાગ તેજૂરા સાથે ઝિમ્બાબ્વે ના ડેપ્યુટી મિનિસ્ટર વાણિજ્ય અને ઉદ્યોગ શ્રી રાજ મોદી અને ઝિમ્બાબ્વે સરકારના પરમેનન્ટ સેક્રેટરી ડો. સિબાન્ડા , ઝિમ્બાબ્વે ના એમ્બેસેડર મિસિસ સ્ટેલા એન્કોમો જોડાયેલા હતા.

મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રી એ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર વેપાર ઉદ્યોગ મહામંડળ ના પ્રમુખ પરાગ તેજુરાને સફળતા માટે શુભેચ્છાઓ પાઠવી હતી અને આફ્રિકાના ઝિમ્બાબ્વે ખાતે યોજાનારા ટ્રેડ શો માં સૌરાષ્ટ્ર વેપાર ઉદ્યોગ મહામંડળ દ્વારા જે ડેલિગેશન જવાનું છે તેમાં ગુજરાત સરકારનું મંત્રી કક્ષાનું ડેલિગેશન પણ સાથે જોડાશે એવી ખાતરી આપી હતી.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર વેપાર ઉદ્યોગ મહામંડળ દ્વારા ઝિમ્બાબ્વેમાં લઘુ ઉદ્યોગો શરુ કરવા માટે ઝિમ્બાબ્વે સરકાર સાથે રહીને જે કાર્ય કરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે તેમાં પણ ગુજરાત સરકાર સાથે જોડાશે તેવી ખાત્રી મુખ્ય મંત્રીશ્રીએ આપેલ હતી. આ ચર્ચા માં સરકાર તરફથી શ્રી મમતા વર્મા અગ્ર ઉદ્યોગ સચિવ, શ્રી સંજીવ કુમાર અને શ્રી વિક્રાંત પાંડે મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીના સચિવ, શ્રી સ્વરૂપ પી. ઉદ્યોગ કમિશ્નર મિટિંગ માં જોડાયેલ. મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીએ ગુજરાત વાયબ્રન્ટ સમિટ ૨૦૨૭માં જોડવા માટે ઝિમ્બાબ્વે ડેલિગેશનને નિમંત્રણ આપ્યું હતું.

The 12th Edition of SVUM 2026 International Trade show at Ahmedabad was successfully concluded. The three days event was Inaugurated at AMC Plot Sindhu Bhavan Road on 11th February 2026 by Honorable Mayor of Ahmedabad Smt Pratibha Jain, in presence of Honorable Dy Minister of Commerce and Industry of Zimbabwe Mr. Raj Modi, Permanent Secretary of Zimbabwe Government Dr. Mavis Sibanda, Shri Jay Shah Youth Leader and other prominent business leaders. The exhibition concluded with the participation of 70 Exhibitors and 100+ foreign buyers from 15 different countries.

Honorable Dy Minister of Commerce and Industry of Zimbabwe Mr. Raj Modi, Permanent Secretary of Zimbabwe Government Dr. Mavis Sibanda and Ambassador of Zimbabwe to India HE Ms. Stella Nkomo paid a courtesy visit to Honorable Chief Minister Sir Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel at the CM house on 13th February 2026 at 11 am. The meeting was concluded with positive notes that Gujarat will support with Technology, Machinery, Manpower training, and raw material required to start manufacturing in Zimbabwe to develop MSMEs.

B2B meetings were organized on 12th February at the Exhibition site conference hall, where around 1000+ meetings happened between foreign delegates and local businessmen/women. Foreign delegates visited around 20 factories of their choice during 14th and 15th February 2026. Looking at the prospectus, we expect ₹100 crore business to be done in the next 6 months.
